The Day I Chose Me Again

Writing is a great self-care tool
Writing is a great self-care tool

There was a moment—maybe not a single day, but a slow awakening—when I realized I was tired of living on autopilot. Tired of being everything to everyone and leaving nothing for myself. Even worse, I was tired of NOT living My dreams out loud. I was constantly trying to be the best mother, spouse, friend and employee. There was so little time to be the best Me, to be happy with My day to day life. I was just living; I wanted to thrive.

I had dreams buried under responsibilities. A voice silenced by survival. And the worst part? I thought that was normal. It seemed like that's how most people lived. Little did I know that so many of us were suffering in silence. I, like many others, was ready to burst free of the shackles of those responsibilities.

But healing whispered to me before it roared. It said, “You don’t have to live like this.” And so, I started the journey back to me.

➡️ I let go of roles that drained me.

➡️ I questioned beliefs that weren’t mine.

➡️ I forgave the version of me who didn’t know better.

That journey led me not only to a happier, more productive version of Myself but led Me to create Rediscover the You Within—a space for women like Me, who are tired of surviving and ready to start thriving. Feeling stuck isn’t a failure. It’s a sign. A signal that something needs attention, healing, or release. If you’re experiencing any of these listed below you might be a perfect candidate for Rediscover the You Within, My 5-week virtual self-discovery program for women.

  • You’ve outgrown your current life. You wake up feeling unfulfilled even when everything

    should be fine.

  • You’re constantly exhausted. Emotional burnout is real. People-pleasing, perfectionism, and

    pretending are draining.

  • You crave deeper connections. Superficial friendships and surface-level living just don’t feel right

    anymore.

  • You’re finally ready to face yourself. You’re not afraid of growth—you’re afraid of staying the

    same.

  • You’ve whispered “there has to be more.” Guess what? There is. And it starts with rediscovery.

If this resonates with your spirit, I invite you to join me this July. You’re not broken—you’re buried. Let’s unearth the real you together. Rediscover Yourself this July by clicking HERE
