In support of victims and survivors of domestic violence, Stronger Than My Struggles is giving away free digital copies of Reflections of a Survivor October 14-15, 2017.
Not only have I had my own experiences with domestic violence in the home, but one of my co-authors, Arlene “Lady Blue” Major, is a domestic violence survivor. Arlene shares her story of survival and finding self awareness in this inspirational anthology.
This weekend, Lady Blue is hosting her third annual domestic violence awareness event, 50 Shades of Blue. 50 Shades of Blue aims to not only bring awareness to domestic violence year-round, but to assist three families who have suffered due to domestic violence.
I will be sharing my experience with domestic violence at the event. I’m on the lineup of speakers and Stronger Than My Struggles will be there vending as well. The event is FREE and open to the public.
