Black & Blues in the Pews. RSVP for this breakfast discussion.

I’m thankful that we are living in a society that is more open about their mental health. Even more, I’m grateful that the churches are starting to be more open to talking about it. Churches often talk about the struggles of their parishioners; they’ll remind you that God said the weapons formed against you would not prosper, but they will come. Yet, when it’s time to talk about the weapons coming against the parishioners, the church tends to be silent.

If you’re in the Baltimore area, NAMI and MorganCARES are hosting a Black & Blue, Prayer in the Pew breakfast event next week. It’s free and open to the public, however you must RSVP in advance. You can RSVP at https://www.eventbrite.com/e/black-and-blues-addressing-mental-health-in-the-pews-tickets-716063133107 or scan the barcode on the flyer.
