Survivors Who Thrive: Carla Thompson
As we start the new year, we're excited to take the opportunity to highlight and celebrate survivors throughout our global community. Today, we'd like to introduce you to Carla Thompson.
A Little About Carla
CEO of Boss Bundles Hair, Carla Thompson is no stranger to life "throwing stones". Dealing with multiple life altering health issues, she knows how it feels to not feel beautiful because your body has full control of your life. In 2018, she decided to take control of my life while helping and inspiring other women to do the same.
In Her Own Words
I have lupus and pulmonary hypertension (high blood pressure in heart and lungs). The medication that I take creates hair loss. Hair is the woman’s crown. I started my business to help.
The way I thrive in adversity is to have a clear understanding of who I am. I’m disabled and can’t do things normal people do. Once I came to that understanding, I started moving according to my wants and needs. It take me longer to complete task but I never give up and always pushing through despite of my problems.
